John Imbriglia

Chief Executive Officer

John is the Chief Executive Officer of CrowdStreet, and is responsible for leading the overall strategy, innovation, and business development initiatives of the company.  John has spent his entire career at the intersection of the private markets, technology, and high net worth investors, and has been at the forefront of making private investment opportunities more accessible and transparent to a larger group of investors. 

Prior to CrowdStreet, John was a Managing Director at iCapital, a leading FinTech marketplace for private market investments. John was one of the first employees at iCapital, and helped grow the company into a global business with over $200 billion of platform assets.  Most recently, John was a General Partner at Platform Capital Management, a venture capital and private equity firm, where he focused on early-stage investments in financial technology and marketplace businesses.

John received a BA, cum laude, from Georgetown University, and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
